Woodhouse is ethnic tavern with home-cooked food, located on 3089 Lake Shore Boulevard West (next to Rabba food store - between Kipling and Islington). This Toronto-Etobicoke based restaurant is built from, and decorated by the remains of an old, traditional wooden barn. Its country-style environment and excellent service will pleasantly surprise you.

The bar, placed in the center of the pub, dominates the tiny dining room. It's a family-run operation, and their focus is Czech-Slovak cuisine. Please, see the menu for details.

The place is sometimes crowded on friday and saturday nights, but the restaurant is open seven days a week. The portions are huge, and as typical with Eastern European food, not the healthiest, but it is great. Prices are also fairly low.
